Carter and Mulhall once again purchased a joint ticket and too the anger of watching drinkers Carter claimed as soon as the ticket was purchased that they had just purchased the winning ticket.
Astonishingly their ticket was drawn out and even more annoyingly Carter strolled up to the bar and picked the correct key out of 12 possible options leading to a chorus of boos as the syndicate once again split the ‘Jackpot’ of £70.
“To suggest that the game is fixed is ridiculous” Said Carter
“At least it’s given the people in the Club something else to moan at though”
“They just have to accept that I am very good at open the Box.”
“The Mole and I had hoped to scoop a huge jackpot that would be enough to buy the new kit but that was not to be. Maybe we’ll leave it a few weeks next time to run the total jackpot up a bit.”
"35 quid is not to be scoffed at though and it enabled me and The Mole to buy our tickets for the end of season hog Roast."
Carter also went on to urge all of his other Team Mates to buy their tickets for the event on the 31st of July AS SOON AS POSSIBLE from their nearest ticket agent i.e The Mole in Lincoln, Big Al at The Spar, Andy Ottewell or Clive Wilkinson. Tickets are priced at a very reasonable £10 which covers hog roast hireing of a band for the evening and hireing of a marquee.
