Clifford impressed during Sundays Ron Eaglen Cup win at Jerusalem scoring a sensational hat trick and the Welton boss Al Taylor has branded him "back to his best". "I'm enjoying getting back to what I do best," Clifford told the Welton News.
"The way we have played in the last few weeks has helped me and I'm certainly enjoying it.
"The gaffer was saying it was about getting back to what I was doing when I scored 43 goals two seasons ago.
"That's what I've been trying to do. The result was brilliant on Sunday and I enjoyed the way I played. I've now got to do that week-in, week-out."
