Gaffer Hopes For Anti-Social Welton

Welton Sports and Social boss Big Al will be hoping his players all have early nights on Saturday in the build up to Sunday's big clash with Stags FC.
Several established members of the first team have recently been spotted hitting trendy bars and clubs in the early hours of Sunday mornings, actions that break the Social Club’s Saturday night curfew. Onlookers said “the players were gallivanting around with all kinds of drinks – shots, cocktails, beers, the lot – and generally being rowdy”.
Welton are already being tipped as title contenders this season after the arrival of several big names adding to an already impressive squad. But a club insider admitted the players would have to ‘curb their drinking’ if they were to have any chance against rivals Stags this weekend. The players themselves were unable to comment, however, it is expected that they will be taking Al's warning very seriously indeed and will not jeopardise their best chance of beating the Stags for several years.
