Weltonl have rarely spent as much as their Premier League title rivals during Taylors time in charge of the club and the Scotsman admits they are still unable to compete with the likes of GE Rustons.
However, he says the Socialites are now in a "stronger situation" than ever before and are ready to fill the gaps in their squad this summer.
"Our financial situation is becoming stronger and we will be capable of buying the players we need," Taylor told the Welton News.
"All the top players cannot go to GE Rustons. There are players outside of what GE Rustons want to buy that are more than good enough for us.
"The club has never been in a stronger situation. It has a fantastic stadium, fantastic training facilities, it is in a fantastic financial situation and we have a very young team that is playing at the top.
"All the ingredients are here to be very successful and I believe we will be."
and Taylor has admitted his frustration at the amount of injuries he has had to deal with this season and ponders what might have been.
"If you have the lengthy injuries we have had throughout the season like Luke Clifford, Jamie chesman, Dean Dye, Ross Taylor you are going to struggle- well, if you take Ben Good and Jason Tinkler from Ge RUstons for half a season, I want to see what they would do," he added.
