All of the players were involved in the singing of the song accompanied by the William Farr School choir.
Choir master Eric Hughes had this to say. “The Welton players came to me with this idea and I was delighted to help.”
“The players told me of the epic nature of the Cup Final and the desire and passion that had to be shown to overturn mounting odds. They also wanted a patriotic theme ahead of the World Cup.”
“I instantly suggested Jerusalem as it is a really patriotic hymn and really is an inspirational song to sum up the nature of Weltons comeback.”
So without any further ado here for the very first time in another wsscfc.blogspot.com World exclusive Welton sing Jerusalem.

And did those feet in ancient time.
Walk upon Weltons mountains green:
And was the holy Kelly Read Cup,
On Weltons pleasant pastures seen!
And did the Countenance Divine,
Shine forth upon our tired limbs?
And were Jerusalem, winning here,
Among those dark deserted stands?
Bring me my show of golden goals;
Bring me my Arrows of desire:
Bring me my Spear: O clouds unfold!
Bring me my Chariot of fire!
We did not cease the Mental Fight,
Nor did my calf sleep in my leg:
TILL WE HAD BEAT JERUSALEM,
on Lincolns green & pleasant Piiiiitch
