Welton boss spoilt for choice

Welton S&SC boss Al Taylor has admitted he faces a welcome selection dilemma following the possible signing of forward Jason Tinkler.

Taylor has an array of attacking options at his disposal ahead of the new season as Tinkler, Curtis, Coupland, Joe and James Drabble, Luke Clifford, Ward, Gordon and Brewer all jostle for starting spots in attacking roles.
Coupland, Clifford and Drabble all scored over 20 goals between them last term to help Welton clinch the 2nd automatic champions league spot, while Tinkler is desperate to revive his career after a low-key spell with Cherry.
"I think we've got to find the right combination," said Taylor.
"It'll be interesting to see the link-up with all the forward players. I think the important thing is the service we get to them now that we've lost Bowey who was a major provider of goals, and that's all for pre-season.
"We'll try one or two combinations in pre-season and get the best formation and formula for ourselves."
