The Witham wharf resident is looking forward to pitting his wits against the Gilles.
"I can't wait to face St Giles," Snookes told the clubs official website. "I want to get a shirt on, get out there and play.
"It will be a good game, a good test for us and is just what we need at this stage of pre-season.
"They will give us a lot of problems with their physicality and movement but it's better that we encounter those sort of problems now before the season starts."
