I am not a crazy player – Snookes

Joe Snookes has been handed a three-match ban after his sickening challenge on Clayton’s Jamie Sayce and insisted: "I am not crazy."

The Sleaford born defender is available for Welton’s cup clash on Sunday against FC Newcaslte and promised there will be no repeat.
"I've never done something stupid like that, but I have learnt the lesson," said Snookes.
"I read a story on the internet that I am a crazy guy on the pitch, but I'm not crazy, I only want to win."
Snookes, 22, revealed the red card against Claytons earlier this month was only the second of his career.
But even if the Boston based side try and make him lose his cool, should he be picked to play on Sunday, he said: "Let them wind me up."
Manager Alistair Taylor knows his players will have to keep their heads against a Newcastle side who have won all their opening six games.
The former County Cup semi-finalists are the only side in the Boston League to have a 100 per cent record.

Welton go into the game in second place after winning 6 out of their last 7 games.
But Taylor knows they cannot afford any slip-ups.
"It is the biggest test, not just because they are Newcastle, they have got six wins under their belt," he said. "Their confidence is really, really high.
"When you look at their first 11, six or seven have semi pro experience.
"We will be happy with a good performance and that's the way we have set up our standards.
"If we go there and don't do ourselves any justice to ourselves, we will be disappointed."
Taylor will be without midfielders Tom Wilkinson and Pete Sutton who have both been ruled out for two weeks with hamstring injuries picked up in Sunday's 4-3 defeat win at Claytons.
But it means Sam Gordon could get his place back and Ross Taylor could be handed his first start in 6 games as he aims to impress his boss.
"I don't think it matters whether you start or on the bench as long as you're doing something for the team," said Taylor.

As for Sunday's game, he said: "We need to get something out of the game. Hopefully we can play some good football.
"Every game is a test, even when you play the lesser sides, they are going to battle.
