RON EAGLEN TIE RAINED OFF

Welton Sports & Social clubs first round Ron Eaglen cup tie at home to CV Golden Eagle had to be called off due to a waterlogged pitch at Social Park. The snow from Saturday night had melted and left big puddles all over the surface leaving referee Nigel Fisher no choice to call the game off at 10.15 much to the annoyance of both sides who were happy to play.

The fixture has been moved to next Sunday meaning Weltons schedule match against Rustons will have to be rearranged. The Welton staff would like to remind all players and fans that it is the clubs annual Christmas Party next Sunday after the first team and reserve team have finished there matches. The reserves are away at Welton FC with a 14.00 kick off at Manor Park, Welton.

Everyone interested in taking part next Sunday needs to pay Mark Brewer £4 for a Santa outfit.
