WELTON FACE AWAY DAY IN COUNTY CUP LAST 16

Welton Sports & Social have been rewarded for reaching the last 16 of the County Cup with an away tie against the winners of Swan Athletic and Janneys allstars.

Swan Athletic are currently lying 6th in Division one of the Lincoln league, while their Scunthorpe based opponents look like formidable oppostion.

Janneys Allstars are in Division 3 of the Scunthorpe Sunday league but they have won every league since they formed in 2005 working their way up the leagues. They have only lost one out of their last 42 games and scored an incredible 270 goals in doing so.

Whoever wins this tie which is due to take place next Sunday will provide tough opposition for the Socialites.
