Defender Jaz Dhindsa is hoping his injury is 'nothing' after dedicating Welton's impressive County Cup fifth round win over Janneys Allstars to new signing Tom Bowey.
The Reepham Toft resident continued his fine season with a solid shift in The Socialites 7-4 victory over the Scunthorpe side on Sunday.
Dhindsa limped off the pitch midway through the second half of the win after making a stunning last-ditch tackle, but the defender is confident he will shrug off the injury. Sunday's showdown at Quibbel Park also saw the returning Bowey paraded to the away fans, and Dhindsa for one is delighted to have the 22-year-old back at the Social Club.
Speaking exclusively to wsscfc.blogspot.com, Dhindsa said: "I dedicate Sunday's win to Tom Bowey because I am delighted he is back where he belongs.
"I was devastated when he left the club at the start of the season, but now he's back I couldn't be happier."

Bowey brought a tear to the eye of many a Socialites supporter in the summer when he left Social Park to join Leeds outfit Armley Athletic. The young businessman took the Leeds Sunday Combination League by storm, and was quickly convinced to return to Lincoln to help Welton with their treble-chasing challenge.
Welton remain on course for a dream Cup treble after safely negotiating the early stages of the Kelly Read, Ron Eaglen and County Cup competitions.
And although the Premier League trophy looks set to return to GE Millers, Dhindsa believes the Lincolnshire County Cup is the greatest prize in world football.
He added: "The County Cup is the creme de la creme as far as i'm concerned."It is a competition I used to sit at home and watch as a boy and to have a chance of playing in the quarter final is a dream.
"I think we have the quality to go all the way and just imagine the scenes in the Social Club if we brought back the County Cup from Sincil Bank!"
Welton meet Scunthorpe outfit Queen Bess in the last eight at Social Park on February 1, and Dhindsa is looking forward to the clash for more reasons than most.
"It was great to hear yesterday that Clive Wilkinson has agreed to get the beers in after the quarter final." He led us astray on Sunday and not only did we end up in one of Britain's roughest pubs, we missed out on the sausage and chips!
"Mines a Magners Clive!"
