Welton boss Al Taylor has been named Premier League Manager of the Month for January, beating Mick Burke, and Jonny Bell.The Socialites enjoyed an excellent start to the New Year, winning all three of their fixtures in January beating Janneys Allstars to progress to the quarter final of the County Cup a game which they went onto win against Queen Bess on the 1st of February, They also knocked Divisional rivals FSC Victory out of the Ron Eaglen Cup and maintained their title push with a 1-0 victory over Jerusalem
The Socialites are now within striking distance of a much deserved return visit to Sincil Bank although tough test lie in wait in February.
Also short-listed for the January award were Mick Burke of GE Millers but they got knocked out of the County Cup so he didn’t win, and Jerusalem manager Jonny Bell.
