Lee Coupland says Welton’s upcoming Cup final’s against Seven Seas and Fox and Hounds will not be a distraction as they look to focus on Sunday’s and Wednesdays Premier League games.
All talk at Welton over the last month has been on the knockout competitions and Coupland hopes that the welton players are in the same mind set for their crucial League fixtures against Horncastle Town and CW Golden Eagle.
"The Cup Finals are three weeks away so I am sure there will be a lot of conversations about Fox and Hounds and of course Seven Seas nearer the time," said Coupland.
"But for us the most important game right at this particular moment in time is Horncastle.
"We will play Horncastle first and take it from there.
"The semi-final and final’s will be covered when it needs to be covered and we won't be getting ahead of ourselves."
"at the end of the day, there are a lot of games to play and we want to compete in every game we play in.
"I'm not obsessed with anything other than the next game."
