The Lincolnshire FA could be left with egg on their faces this weekend as the County Cup final between Welton S&SC and Seven Seas is in serious doubt due to the main pitch at the multi million pound Bradley Football development centre being waterlogged.
Although nothing has been confirmed yet, The pitch will definitely face a pitch inspection on Friday afternoon when a decision will definitely be made one way or another.
The potential for the game being called off throws up a number of nightmare scenarios for all concerned and with tens of Welton fans already in the Seaside resort the pressure is really on the FA to ensure the game goes ahead as planned.
