Munro hopes for Final goal

Welton forward Billy Munro is hopeful he can repeat his knack of scoring at Sincil Bank when it comes to Sunday’s Ron Eaglen Cup final against Fox & Hounds.Munro has found the net in two of the three Cup finals he has played at Sincil Bank for the Social Park side.

His late salvo in extra time against Jerusalem in 2010 was enough for Welton to retain the Kelly Read Cup.

"I am proud that, for the fourth time I am with Welton in a final," said Munro.

“I’ve managed to score three goals in those games and I’d love to make it four in four this Weekend.”

"I will do everything to ensure that in the fourth final I prove my worth with a goal."
