Neil Stocks would not swap any of his Welton team-mates as they attempt to carve their names into the Clubs history books.
This weekend Welton will attempt to collect the Kelly Read Cup to add to their Ron Eaglen Cup, an achievement that has never happened in the Clubs history.
And, as the man most likely to lead Welton out at the Sincil Bank on Sunday, Stocks could not wish for a better group of players to be behind him.
"I wouldn't swap any of our players for anyone in any other side," said the Welton skipper.
"I look at other players around Lincoln and then look at the ones in our dressing room and I am delighted to be in there.
"I hear a lot of people talking about various players being the best but I am very happy with ours."
However, Stocks is cautious. The recent County Cup defeat to Milan is proof the better team does not always triumph in a one-off game.
"I'll only be able to tell you after the final whether we are the best Welton team or not," said the 26-year-old.
"If the KR Cup goes belly up then we wouldn't be talked about as a successful side, let alone the best one, so we still have a lot to play for."
"It is all right saying we should have won more Kelly Read Cups the last couple of years but the fact is we haven't. It is something we have to change," said Stocks.
"The manager is saying he wants more, which is the way we are all thinking.
"Collectively it is not just for the manager, it is for us as individuals, the team, the club and the fans.
"We are all in this together and the main aim is to try and be successful.
