Jaz Dhindsa, Neil Stocks and James Drabble completed the rowt to set up a semi final rematch with Nettleham at Mulsanne Park
12/04/09 NETTLEHAM (A) KELLY READ CUP SEMI FINAL W4-0
Welton arrived for the Semi Final with out a recognized goalkeeper in their squad. Rick Ossai was away, Matt Wilkinson was injured and Michael Jones was nowhere to be seen. Socialites worldwide were dreading another cup run being ended by farsical stand in keeper Will the Cat Carter until an unlikely hero stepped into the breach. James Drabble donned the traffic cone goalkeeper shirt and kept out a plucky young Nettleham side. A Scott Coupland hat trick and a goal for Luke Clifford sent the Social comfortably through to this Sundays final.
