Chairman Clive Wilkinson, emerged from among the ranks of the Welton faithful and has played the leading role in the club's efforts to establish themselves as regular trophy winners.
The Scotsman said: "Anybody who wants to achieve puts pressure on themselves.
"It is great to have the support of the chairman, of course, but I want to achieve for the football Club and also to repay that faith shown in me when my job was on the line when we were a joke of a side six years ago struggling in Division 1."
"Everybody on the staff, feels that debt towards the people at the top and I hope the Ron Eaglen is a good reward for them.
"We want it to work for them and for the rest of the fans - because the chairman is a fan and we want to bring home the Kelly Read for all the supporters."
The manager said: "He is very supportive when he needs to be, and he trusts us to get on with what needs doing.
"I don't need to run to him every five minutes for clarification on things. I know his support is there and that's all that matters."
“We’ve had our best season for Decades this season, and hopefully we can bounce back and bring home some more silverware this weekend.”
