Daly said: "We're an established club in terms of size and facilities and I genuinely believe we have a good group who can make the step up.
"They showed their capability at times last season and I believe we can compete against clubs who have been in this League for a few seasons.
"We have to improve in certain areas of the pitch, but we'll go into the season in a strong state of mind and be as ready and prepared as we can be.
"We're not frightened of this division and we respect the teams in the league, but we're looking forward to having a successful time."
