
The 24-year-old committed himself to the Socialites on a new five-year contract this week - and says he never had any doubt he would stay put.
He told the Lincolnshire Echo: "When these questions were getting asked (about my future) I always knew I was going to sign a new contract.
"I didn't have a doubt in my mind. It's good to get it out of the way so I can focus on the new season, but it was never an issue."
"I always said i'd sign when i got back off holiday."
Snookes has now set his sights on securing more medals to his growing collection in what he has labelled a "massive season".
He added: "The last two seasons have been brilliant for us and I’m proud to have played a big part in that. The players we’ve brought in to add to the squad we already have should give us alot of confidence going into the new season.”
