Drabble will stand in for Socialites

forward James Drabble will be in Goal for weltons first pre season friendly this evening when Welton entertain Lincoln United Reserves.

With Matt Wilkinson and craig turner unavailable still Social boss Al Taylor wants Drabble to deputise in goal and maintain his emmaculate record of three wins out of three whilst wearing the traffic cone.

Craig is unavailable this evening and Mayhem has work commitments but we have a great player to fill this position in the form of Chris Cohen.

"He gets paid to play for Welton and he will be playing in Goal. He has played in goal before and I have complete faith in him.

"I have spoken to him about it and he does understand. There is a lack of players in that position this evening. These are the resources we have, this is the situation we are in and he will have to play there."

Welton are expected to hand debuts to a couple of their Summer signings this evening with Jason Tinkler and Oli Furness both expected to be in the Socials starting line up.
