New kit revealed

Welton S&SC’s new home kit for the 2010/11 season, designed by new kit supplier Nike have been leaked on the internet.

The images appear to show the new design for the Socialites attire next season - which will be the first kit supplied by Nike for four years.

A spokes person for the Welton Club Shop issued this statement.

"An eagle eyed supporter snapped a picture of the new shirt and the image has spread like wild fire all over the internet."

"We were re arranging the retro section of the shop to make room for the new kit next season but a member of staff had obviously left one of the new shirts out on the rack."

The kit will have the same blue and white stripes that adorns the team's current home shirt, which met with a good reaction from fans when they were first released.

The shirt also features the club badge on the upper left of the shirt on a plain background.

The official launch of the shirts is not expected to be until next week, when the club will officially release the design to coincide with their County Cup clash with FVA Jerusalem.

But the images, which show the prototype shirts complete with official Nike tags, appear to have given supporters a sneak preview.
