
The former blogspot columnist missed the beginning of the first half after sleeping in following a heavy night on the ales celebrating his Wedding anniversary with wife Claire at the Grille restaurant in the Bailgate area of Lincoln.
Drabble eventually made the journey from Sudbrooke and was greeted by a tremendous ovation from the home fans as he appeared on the sidelines mid way through the first half.
Seconds after his arrival Welton took the lead through his eldest Son James who went onto score four goals this after they had made a shaky start to the game against a young Metheringham side.
"I knew during the first half he had appeared because I saw him come through the turnstiles," Said Daly.
"He had obviously had a big night out but typically for him he wanted to get straight into it, put his replica shirt on and get back on with supporting the team.
"His appearance gave the players and the fans a boost and I think you saw that by the goal that we scored within seconds of his arrival."
