The stars of Welton Sports AFC & Sports & Social will now be training at Riseholme University campus from the 16th February through to the 22nd March as their Welton training ground goes through a multi million pound make over.
Once complete the new training ground will offer two of Lincolnshire's premier teams the finest training facilities including a brand new 3G pitch and improved changing rooms.
Club Secretary James Mulhall said " it is great to see further investment in the club as we push for league and cup honors every season this new facility can only improve our players fitness and conditioning"
It is hoped that the new pitch will be ready early summer weather permitting and rumours a rife who will open the new facility. Early suggestions are that fans favourite and all round good guy Andy Ottewell who has be instrumental in securing the funding may be the man to cut the ribbon.
