Welton S&SC's County Cup Semi Final has finally fallen victim to the arctic freeze that has already forced the Lincoln FA to cancel every other game this weekend.
All other games were cancelled on Friday morning apart from Welton's game against Tap and Spile but with temperatures over night plummeting to minus 16 in places, The Socialites were left with no choice but to abandon the match again.
"Every effort was made to try and get the game on." Said Manager Al Taylor.
"The snow and ice hasn't shifted from last week yet and then it got covered in snow again on Thursday."
"Hopefully the weather will improve this Week so we can get the game on next weekend."
