Sports HOLEd hope of Meggy recoverey

Welton Sports AFC’s medical team are sweating over the fitness of veteran centre back James Metheringham after the former Metheringham man was taken to hospital with a suspected broken ankle.

A seemingly innocuous fall down a Cowpaddle rabbit hole turned out to be a lot more serious than first thought and Metehringham was rushed to A&E for x rays.

Club doctor Tommy Andrews told the Clubs official website. “the fracture which showed up on yesterdays x-ray was an old one he didn’t know he had. They think it could be just ligament damage but can’t be sure for another week if the swelling goes down.”
