Chesman focused on Horncastle

Veteran defender Jamie Chesman has warned Welton they cannot afford to switch off as they enter the stage of the season which "matters the most".
The Socialites head into a run of four Premier League matches in good form but there is no let up in the intensity of the games as every game is effectively a Cup game because Welton have to win them all.

Horncastle Town visit Social Park on Sunday and with Horncastle destined to finish bottom of the table Chesman accepts there can be little room for complacency.

"This is the period where what we do matters the most, so we just want to keep our focus on this game and not worry about County Cup Finals or Semi Finals.”.

"We have shown both footballing and mental qualities in recent weeks and now we need to continue our development."

“Horncastle have absolutely nothing to lose at the Weekend, They can come and enjoy their morning knowing that the pressure is firmly on us.”

"What is most important is our consistency and momentum, We need to start the game well and keep the back door shut because they have players that can punish us if we commit to many men forward."
