Although Carter the out field defender has been one of Weltons most consistent performers for the last 5 seasons, Carters alter ego the cat topped the poll by a staggering 7 votes from useless reserves forward Ed.The Cat has paid a heavy price for his shambolic goalkeeping displays against The George and Dragon and the now infamous cup game against lowly Wragby. The Cat has been retired to legend and will forever hold a special place in Social supporter’s hearts as the most dismal player they have ever seen.

This is sure to be a keenly contested vote so here is a run down of some of the contenders.
Jenny Constable. Girlfriend of midfielder Tom Wilkinson, Jenny is a regular visitor to the Social Club and always manages to make the old boys at the bar smile.
Hayley Staveley. Girlfriend of Will Carter, Hayley has visited the Social club twice. Once for pleasure and once to drag a drunken Carter home for his tea.
Carole Carter. Sister of Will Carter, Carole is popular amongst the Welton players and has visited the club twice but is unlikely to be seen again after intimidation from Wilf forced her to leave.
Emily Smith. Girlfriend of Peter Sutton. Becoming somewhat of a regular at the Social Club on a Sunday afternoon. Often makes Big Al late for his Sunday dinner as the Social Park boss loves to stay for an extra pint when Emily is present.
Emma (Emsy) Foster. Girlfriend of Scott Coupland, A chef to the Royals, Many men in the Social club wouldn’t mind her making their tea.
Natalie Syson. Little known Syson is a regular in the Social club but always sits at the dreaded other end near the darts board. Well worth a look on your way back from the toilet.
Carena Fullerton. Girlfriend of Joe Drabble Carena has not been seen for a while but her return would be well received by many in the Social.
Gemma (Gemsy) Parkinson. Seen by many as a future Welton Wag. Young Gemsy could possibly one day be the captain of the wags? Unless Alex Munn has anything to say about it
Becky (BZ) Ziccardi. The wife of Mario is a true regular in the Social, They call Mario super Mario on the terraces at Ashby avenue but super Becky would be a top choice of Barry Mathews to join him in his cart.
Maureen. Would make a wonderful wife
