Drabble admits to goal frustration

Welton striker James Drabble admits he is "frustrated" with his early-season goal drought but has vowed to continue working hard.
The 24-year-old hasn’t found the net yet this term but Drabble insists he is fighting hard to rediscover the form that has propelled him to become Weltons all time leading goalscorer a title that has earned him legend status at Social Park.
He told the Welton News: "I'm finding it frustrating not scoring. As a striker my job is to stick the ball in the back of the net and I’ve not been doing that so far this season but I’d be more concerned if the team hadn’t been winning and if I’d been playing badly. I feel as if I’m doing a decent job for the team and that’s all that matters”

“I will keep working hard and I’m sure a goal is just around the corner for me. The crowd has been really good to me, they’ve not got on my back yet and I really appreciate that, Grandad Clifford even praised me the other day. This is an amazing club, there is a real togetherness at the Club now and we want to go out and win games for each other and the supporters."

Drabble also received a vote of confidence from his manager Big Al Taylor, who said: "I'm sure James will score soon, probably off his knee or his backside and then the goals will start flowing for him."
