Taylor happy with debutants

Welton boss Big Al Taylor has revealed his satisfaction with the debuts of Jamie Chesman and Tom Bowey against Victory at the weekend.

Taylor is keen to strengthen his squad further in this month's transfer window and is checking out a number of possible targets.

Yet as far as business so far concluded is concerned, Taylor believes he has found two good players in winger Bowey and defender Chesman, who both made their debuts against Victory last Sunday.

Taylor said: "Bowey did well in the right wing berth on his return. He looked like he had never been away and the fans were delighted to see him back.”

Bowey recieved a rapturous reception from the Social Park faithful as he trotted back to the hallowed turf of Social Park.

"Chesy in a 4-4-2 looked strong. He has a decent right foot and is decent in the air. His experience will prove important come the business end of the season."
