Tinkler has had to bide his time on the bench in the last couple of months but after impressing as a second half substitute against Scothern in the Socialites last outing Tinkler is hoping he can help his side get back to Sincil Bank with a win against Clayton Wanderers this Sunday.And while the 23-year-old understands the enormity of the task ahead, he remains confident his side can get past Wanderers on Sunday in their Semi-final clash.
Tinkler said: "With what we achieved in the RE Cup last year we have to go out there on Sunday full of belief that we can get the result we want to remain in the competition.
"There is no reason why we can't go all the way to the final again, and who knows possibly better what we did last year.
"We aren't getting too carried away though; we are in the last four for the fourth time in 5 years and we know we have an almighty task on our hands to get past Claytons.
“We were all a bit disappointed that the County Cup Final isn’t at Sincil Bank so it would be nice to book ourselves into a final there for the fifth season in a row.”
