Warman appointed as Welton coach

Former Welton midfielder Paul Warman is back in Sunday Football after being appointed Welton sports and Social Fc‘s head coach.

"Paul brings a wealth of experience to his role as coach here at Welton, and he will enhance what is already an excellent team of staff at the club," Chairman Clive Wilkinson told the club's website.

“Paul and I have a great relationship off the field and his wage demands of 5 pints of guiness after every session are very reasonable.”

"Having Paul here at the start of pre-season training was an important factor, and I am very pleased that the coaching team will be in place as we prepare for the start of an exciting campaign."

Warman, joins Welton in time for there second pre-season training session on Thursday.

“I’m really excited to get started” said Warman

“Coaching the lads is never easy though as half of them take twenty minutes to grasp what I’m asking them to do where as 15 year old Girls grasp it straight away.”

“It really is a challenge I’m facing but it is a challenge I’m looking forward to.”
