warman kean to get off to a flyer

Welton defender Leigh Warman insists the season opener at home to Metheringham is a match to "get the blood pumping".

Welton face Metheringham at Social Park on the 5th of September and Warman says "It's a great game to start with.

"On paper it’s a good start. All the games are going to be tough this season though and it gets the blood pumping and I am sure the atmosphere inside Social Park will be fantastic and I'm looking forward to it."

"If we start the season well it should be good. We know it's going to be hard but we will have our minds screwed onto it."

“With GE Rustons dropping out we have got as good a chance as anyone but there are at least four or five teams who will have there eyes on the title.”
