After starring in Welton’s Kelly Read Cup triumph last season Tinkler has had to endure a frustrating spell on the bench due to work commitments but Tinkler has impressed in his last two appearances as a second half substitute. The most recent of those came on Wednesday when he came off the bench to help in the comeback against Jerusalem.
Looking ahead to Sunday he said: "Everyone wants to be part of it, whether you're playing, on the bench or just cheering on the squad.
Yesterday's victory was Welton's fourth Premier League win in a hectic ten days and kept their interest in the premier League alive.
Tinkler praised boss Al Taylor for keeping their focus on the league, saying: "This was a really difficult game because we've got the semi-final and obviously the County Cup final and the Ron Eaglen Final in our sights and no-one wants to get injured.
"But it's also important we take some good form into the game and that's what we showed. We played some great football.
"Everyone's buzzing but I think the manager and the coaching staff have done a really good job. We had to get these four games out of the way and if everyone was thinking about Sincil Bank I don't think we would have won these games."
The three points ensured Welton will go into Sunday's clash against Waddington United the form team in the Country winning 21 games in a row in all competitions but Tinkler believes none of that will have any relevance come 10:45 on Sunday.
"That doesn't matter at all now" he said. "It's a huge game for them, It's going to be crazy. I know some people from Waddington and their players and supporters can't wait for the game.
"Everyone I know is trying to get to the game, begging me for tickets. I think it's a great thing for them because they were a top side not so long ago.
"We're going in confident. We're playing great - look where we are in the league. It's our typical end of season finish and hopefully on the day we can get the job done and hopefully I can play a part in that."
